Feghouli
was one of very few bright points yesterday. I think we should keep him

Re: Feghouli
I've seen enough over the last nine months to convince me he's a squad player at best and never good enough to be a first team regular in a top six side, if Napoli or whoever it was come back in with a £8 million bid then get rid

We need to stop settling for 2nd best

Re: Feghouli
if he got his consistency under control he'd be a real asset. Certainly better than that plonker Snodders.

wasn't suggesting he start every week NB

But you do need those squad players

loves a trick with the ball but no real end result...

Re: Feghouli
Nice to see him come on and give it a go - credit to him for that. Talent alone is not enough. Needs to be more direct. I think better coaches would have done more with him by now.

Re: Feghouli
was the only one who put any effort in yesterday.

Fifth Column 1:40 Mon May 15
Re: Feghouli
He has no pace. He's frequently a yard ahead of his marker and then checks back because he's too slow. He's playing in the wrong league. He needs to be in Spain or Italy.

He's also lazy and doesn't want to track back.

Plays Hollywood crossfield balls that win us 5 yards.

With all the tricks he's probably our best 5 a side player.

Feghouli was putting himself back in the shop window for a summer transfer. That's all...

Re: Feghouli
I agree with Fifth Column.

Aside from a couple of sprints, step overs and a fancy bit of bamboozlement on the wing against one of their defenders yesterday, he brings nothing to us of any significance. He is lazy, hardly tracks back (his performance at Hull was lamentable, especially when allowing Robertson to sprint past him and set up an attack.)

No, flog the show pony for what we can get for him.

Re: Feghouli
I thought he showed some life and enterprise yesterday.
As usual we are so disjointed that no other player ever works with the others so he would beat a man and be confronted by more while our players are standing around like stunned mullets.
Make a run, make an angle for a pass. Do something

Re: Feghouli
you see loads good 5-a-side players like him on the beach in Crete, Cyprus or Tunisia.

Re: Feghouli
Watched Snodgrass.
He hasn't kept a ball passed to him on that left side for 2 months and that late volley was his chance for his first shot on target in 4 months of football
It missed

Re: Feghouli
Yesterday's cameo was one of few very bright points for Feghouli and we shouldn't get carried away.

As pointed out he is lazy in terms of defensive duites, he clearly has pace but wants to cut back to often which slows the attack and his performance at Hull was enough for me to say sell him.

Evidently Roma were interested in the January window - hopefully yesterday's appearance will be on the 'Feghouli's best bits DVD for scouts'

Re: Feghouli

this.

Anyone fooled by this 'performance' yesterday has been tricked. He was putting himself in the shop window and produced nothing of any worth.

Where was that kind of effort and performance the rest of the year? Laughable signing.

Re: Feghouli
How anyone can be so stupid as to think he's worth keeping is laughable. Most PL teams wouldn't give him house room, so I don't know what we're doing with him.

Re: Feghouli
I was surprised to see him come on, I'd have thought Snodgrass would have made better sense. Now he might not have pulled up any trees so far but Feghouli is just one rung above Tore on the ladder of mediocrity.

Re: Feghouli
Most unnecessarily cained player this season. 2nd best winger at the club. Has more technical ability and can cross better than Antonio.

He's absolute gash.
